2023-2024 Taiwan Hot Springs Launch Ceremony - Grand Launch on 9/18 (Mon)

The Tourism Administration, MOTC, together with all 19 hot spring areas across Taiwan, held the "2023-2024 Taiwan Hot Springs Annual Launch Ceremony" on 9/18 (Mon) at the Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park Theater in Yilan. The Xinbeitou Hot Spring area was represented by President Chou Shui-Mei of the Taiwan Commercial District Cultural Tourism Industry Federation, who also serves as Honorary Chairperson of the Taipei Hot Spring Development Association and the Taiwan Asia-Pacific International Hot Spring Tourism Association. This grand event in Yilan Jiaoxi was attended by Yilan County Mayor Lin Tzu-Miao, MOTC Minister Wang Kuo-Tsai, Tourism Administration Director-General Chou Yung-Hui, Northeast Coast and Yilan National Scenic Area Director Ma Hui-Ta, Chinese Hot Spring Tourism Association Chairman Li Chi-Tien, and other officials and hot spring area chairpersons. Most importantly for our association was promoting the 11/1-11/6 Taipei Hot Spring Festival and the Xinbeitou Hot Spring commercial district, hoping that central and local officials and hot spring areas nationwide will join in the festivities.
