2023 Taipei Beitou Flower Yukata Festival Photography Contest "Discover Beitou, Frame with You" 10/14 Special Session

The Xinbeitou Hot Spring commercial district is a benchmark commercial district of Taipei City. Built upon its unique hot spring culture, it connects surrounding distinctive attractions to form a tourism network and shapes Beitou's unique tourism image. In 2023, the "Spring Life 2.0" program launches a photography contest, combining the historically significant flower yukata with the newly renovated Thermal Valley, inviting photography masters from across the nation to participate. Equipment and techniques are unrestricted, aiming to help more domestic and international visitors understand the important role of yukata and Thermal Valley in Beitou.

To promote the newly renovated Thermal Valley Park, a photography contest is once again held in conjunction with the Flower Yukata Festival this year, themed "Discover Beitou, Frame with You." Photography enthusiasts are welcome to join, freely utilizing natural light at different times of day - from the warm orange sunset in the afternoon to the dazzling nighttime scenery of Thermal Valley, and the shimmering reflections on the water surface. Through various photography techniques, convey the cultural vitality of Beitou's flower yukata and showcase the charm of Beitou's attractions, capturing every moving moment! The submission period runs from September 1 to October 18, 24:00, 2023 (for details, visit the Facebook fan page: Xinbeitou Hot Springs). A special photography session is arranged on October 14 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, inviting President Chou Shui-Mei of the Taiwan Commercial District Cultural Tourism Industry Federation, Standing Supervisor Chang Pei-Ni of the Taipei Hot Spring Development Association, and numerous city council members including Hsu Shu-Hua, Yen Jo-Fang, Wang Chih-Ping, Chung Pei-Ling, Chen Tzu-Hui, Lin Hsing-Er, and Lin Yen-Feng, as well as the adorable students from Beitou Yixian Elementary School to participate as models, dressed in flower yukata outfits and accessories, taking photos at Thermal Valley to help promote Beitou together.
