Longbon Chiao Yuan Resort is located in Xinbeitou, tucked away at the far end of the hot spring area. It was once an exclusive guesthouse operated by the Overseas Community Affairs Council for returning overseas compatriots. In 2006, after the Longbon Group took over, the resort underwent a year of renovations. The entire facility now features a grand hall accommodating 1,000 guests, 9 fully-equipped conference rooms, and 62 hot spring suites. Since its completion, it has become the largest original hot spring and herbal garden resort in greater Taipei, offering white sulfur spring bathing and wellness services. Upholding the spirit of a private retreat, the resort provides affordable rates and an entirely new experience for every honored guest. It officially opened to the public in the spring of 2008.

Directions By bus:
  • Take Bus 218 to Xinbeitou Station, walk 5-10 minutes to the resort, or transfer to Bus 230 or 219 and alight at Longbon Chiao Yuan Resort stop.
By MRT:
  • Take the Tamsui Line to Beitou Station, transfer on the same platform to Xinbeitou Station, walk 5-10 minutes to the resort, or transfer to Bus 230 or 219 and alight at Longbon Chiao Yuan Resort stop.
By car:
  • Via National Freeway 1: Past Linkou toll station, past Wugu Interchange, stay right on the elevated road (marker 18), exit at Shilin, stay left to U-turn onto Riverside N. Rd. → Zhoumei Expressway (toward Beitou) → Daye Rd. to the end (Xinbeitou MRT Station) → Turn left onto Quanyuan Rd.
  • Via National Freeway 3: Exit at Xindian Ankeng Interchange, follow signs toward Taipei → Riverside Rd. → Riverside Expressway → Shuiyuan Expressway (toward Shilin/Beitou) → Zhoumei Expressway (toward Beitou) → Daye Rd. to the end (Xinbeitou MRT Station)
