The 2016 Taipei Hot Spring Festival runs October 20-24 beside Xinbeitou MRT Station. This year features a joint hot spring exhibition, gourmet experiences, and Nakashi singing competition. Enjoy buy-1-get-1-free bathing and a chance to win NT$10,000+ accommodation vouchers.During the 5-day event, October 22-23 features children\'s portable shrine parade and Earth God procession showcasing Taiwan-Japan cultural heritage. The newly debuted Beitou mascot "Witch Doll" will appear with Oh Bear, Bravo, and Japanese mascots including Mikan Dog and Ieyasu-kun. Wadaiko Raijin drummers from Matsuyama City, Ehime Prefecture will create a festive carnival parade. On October 22, Ming Hwa Yuan Taiwanese Opera performs "Wu Song Fights the Tiger."
