First: the free Starlight Food & Bath route. The Taipei City Government built 3 free foot soaking pools at Beitou\'s Fuxing Park, Quanyuan Park, and Sulfur Valley. Starting February 14, hours are extended to 8 PM on a trial basis through April 14. Weekdays: 8 AM-8 PM; weekends: until 6 PM only. Closed Mondays or Tuesdays. The Dept. of Economic Development designed a budget itinerary: start at Xinbeitou MRT Station, head to the basement Xinbeitou Creative Market for food, then enjoy an evening foot bath at Quanyuan Park, Fuxing Park, or Sulfur Valley, and finish with night views at Chinese Culture University\'s Lovers\' Slope or Beitou Wu Clan Ancestral Hall plaza.
Second: the premium luxury route. Villa 32, positioned as a "private clubhouse," accepts only guests aged 16+. Prices are steep with no 228 holiday discounts - public bath on national holidays is NT$2,580/person; private bath NT$3,600 for 90 minutes. An off-season promotion is expected in April.
Also, the renowned Radium Kagaya International Hotel follows the Japanese style of alternating men\'s and women\'s baths daily. Public bath: NT$1,500; private bath from NT$2,500 (reservation required).
Third: the budget-friendly route. Choose Sweetme Hot Spring Resort with holiday public bath at NT$850/person, private bath at NT$1,200, plus the trendy new hand bath experience. Room bookings include buy-one-get-one-free breakfast, and on the first day of the long weekend (25th), any purchase earns a free cabbage.
