2018 Taipei Eid al-Fitr & Muslim Carnival on 6/17 (Sun) at Daan Forest Park

2018 Taipei Eid al-Fitr & Muslim Carnival will be held on 6/17 (Sun) 10:00-17:00 at Daan Forest Park. Taipei Hot Spring Development Association, Beitou Sweetme Hot Spring Resort, and Beitou Hot Sea Grand Hotel will have on-site exhibition booths and prize quizzes. Come experience the cultural charm of the Muslim world!

Over 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide enter the annual month of Ramadan, fasting from food and water during the day until sunset. After 30 days of fasting, Eid al-Fitr celebrations are held, similar to Taiwan\'s Lunar New Year, gathering with family and friends to enjoy a grand feast.

As a multicultural city, Taipei is joining in, hosting the 2018 Taipei Eid al-Fitr & Muslim Carnival on 6/17 (Sun). The event features up to 60 booths of Muslim specialty markets from various countries, including lifestyle goods, specialty foods, and cultural experiences. The outdoor stage features Middle Eastern dance troupes and migrant worker bands, inviting all citizens to make new friends at the carnival!
