Taipei Dept. of Information and Tourism Promotes "Singapore Feast, Play Taipei" in Singapore

Taipei City Department of Information and Tourism traveled to Singapore to join Deputy Representative Tai Hui-Yuan of the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore, the Taipei Commercial District Industry Federation, Taipei Hot Spring Development Association, and Taipei tourism operators to jointly promote "Singapore Feast, Play Taipei."Taipei Dept. of Information and Tourism promotes Singapore Feast Play Taipei in Singapore Following last year\'s invitation of celebrity chef Andre Chiang to share his memories of Taipei\'s flavors with Singapore friends, Taipei City specially invited Michelin one-star restaurant Tai Rui\'s Chef Ho Shun-Kai to prepare star-level cuisine - Enchanting Taro Duck Puree - at today\'s (15th) press conference in Singapore. Chef Ho Shun-Kai, who once worked in Singapore, said this dish made him think about how to transform Western styles into Asian versions. Inspired by his time there and through continuous experimentation and deconstruction, he created this dish using distinctively Taiwanese ingredients. He specially chose this dish to dedicate to his mentor and to his past self working hard in Singapore, also inviting Singapore travelers to be sure to taste Taipei\'s cuisine when visiting. During Chef Ho\'s hands-on preparation, waves of aroma wafted through the air, and the rich, creamy flavors upon tasting drew unanimous praise from all guests present.
