2024 Taipei Beitou Flower Yukata Festival: "Flower Celebration" Photography Contest

The photography contest submission period runs from September 5 (Thursday) to October 15 (Monday), 2024. Participants must send digital files of their photographic works to flowerpeitou@gmail.com; late submissions will not be accepted. Judging will take place on October 18 (Friday), 2024, where a professional panel will conduct preliminary and final rounds of evaluation, with winners announced on the same day.
The contest offers generous prizes. First place will receive NT$10,000 in prize money, one accommodation voucher, and two hot spring bathing vouchers; second place will receive NT$6,000 in prize money, one accommodation voucher, and two hot spring bathing vouchers; third place will receive NT$3,000 in prize money, one accommodation voucher, and two hot spring bathing vouchers. Additionally, three honorable mention winners will receive two hot spring bathing vouchers and a surprise gift pack.
Submitted works must be in clear JPG format at 300dpi or above. Only adjustments to brightness, contrast, color saturation, and sharpness are permitted. Any form of plagiarism, copying, color addition, double exposure, layering, alteration, or compositing is prohibited, and no text or watermarks may be added. The contest is open to all categories, with no restrictions on photography equipment.
Additionally, a flower yukata photography special session will be held on October 5 (Saturday), 2024, at the Beitou Hot Spring Museum to showcase contest entries. This event is part of the 2024 Taipei Beitou Flower Yukata Festival, which runs from September 5 (Thursday) to October 15 (Monday) around Xinbeitou MRT Station. The 2024 Taipei Hot Spring Festival will take place from October 30 (Wednesday) to November 3 (Sunday), also around Xinbeitou MRT Station.
