The Taipei Hot Spring Development Association chairperson, on the morning of the 21st, led village chiefs, hotel operators, and government cleaning staff to Beitou Park for environmental cleanup. In just a short time, over 100 kilograms of trash were collected - mostly beverage bottles and utensils. Additional trash bins were also arranged. Regarding traffic paralysis from the massive player influx, the Beitou Police Precinct has response measures. Guangming Station Chief Yu Cheng-Han stated that additional officers will be deployed based on crowd conditions with enhanced patrols. Barricades were placed along sidewalks the previous evening to "protect public safety" against crowds spilling onto roads and to prevent illegal parking.

Yu mentioned that 459 tickets had been issued as of this morning, mostly for illegal parking, and urged players to follow traffic regulations. Officers are also using Pokemon radar as reference to identify crowd concentration areas for enhanced patrol. As the mobile gaming craze continues, players are reminded to catch monsters without causing trouble for others.
