Oct 14, 2016: Hot Spring District Smart Commerce Cross-Industry Exchange Forum

With the widespread adoption of 4G connectivity, consumer behavior has shifted from "mobile first" to "mobile only." Research shows Taiwanese spend an average of 205 minutes per day on smartphones - nearly twice the time spent watching TV. Among 12-19 year olds, 90% watch video on mobile phones compared to about 60% for ages 50-59. The new generation of digital natives are accustomed to watching video content on mobile devices, and digital marketing is increasingly trending toward M2O (Mobile to Online/Offline) development. For this purpose, guided by the Ministry of Economic Affairs Industrial Development Bureau and Taipei City Department of Economic Development, and planned by the Institute for Information Industry, the "Hot Spring District Smart Commerce Cross-Industry Cooperation Exchange Forum" was held on October 14, 2016 (Friday) at Ketagalan Culture Center 4F. This launched multi-party cooperation among the Taipei Hot Spring Development Association, Taiwan Asia-Pacific International Hot Spring Tourism Association, China Excellent Purchase Co., and Chunghwa Telecom Enterprise Division for mobile smart commerce services. The event featured hands-on experience with M2O innovative applications on handheld devices, helping operators adopt digital marketing solutions and improve commercial district service quality. Industry leaders are sincerely welcome to attend for guidance and exchange.
