湯畑・Yubatake・湯畑

ふりがな：ゆばたけ

ここは草津温泉のシンボルとして、毎分４、０００リットルのもの熱湯が、こんこんと湧き出しています。
湧き出でる源泉は整然と並べられた７本の木樋を通って、温度を下げ湯の花を恵み各旅館へと送られていきます。
その様は、まさにお湯の畑・湯畑と言われる由縁です。
ここには八代将軍吉宗お汲上湯の石柱や湯枠などがあり、歴史の古さを物語っています。（ph２．１）
バスターミナルより徒歩で５分

Yubatake is the symbol of Kusatsu Onsen, 4,000 liters per minute of hot-spring is springing forth from there thick and fast here.
spout from source of a hot spring are passing through the 7th wooden conduits, that is lowering temperature, and the flowers of Sulphur are sent to each inn by it.
That is the reason precisely, Yubatake has derived from fields of a hot-spring.
There is stone monument and frame of pumping up hot-spring which call Yuwaku in Yubatake, which is indicative of Yoshimune who is a shogun of Tokugawa government, it mean had made Yoshimune a present of hot-spring from Kusatsu Onsen.

大浴場、露天風呂、サウナのほか、湯温の異なる浴槽を低温から高温に順に入る合わせ湯があり、浴槽は全て源泉かけ流しとなっている。
貸切風呂も備えている。1時間2,000円（入場料別）
休憩所、食事処、喫茶コーナーもあり、1日ゆっくり過ごす事ができる。

Ohtakino-Yu is public bath, there are a big bath, open-air bath and sauna above and beyond, there is different temperature bathtub, which is taking a bath from low temperature to high temperature by rotation, which call Awase-yu.
Bathtub is always having new hot-spring.
Ohtakino-Yu is preparing chartered bath, which is 2,000 yen per hour (not including admission fee).
There is a lounge, restaurant and café, which will be able to spend time during the day.

草津温泉のシンボルでもある湯畑に平成25年（2013）4月に再現された「御座之湯」。冬住みをしていた江戸～明治の建物を木造にこだわり、杉板を使用したとんとん葺きの屋根を特徴とし、漆喰の壁からも当時の趣が漂います。ゆったりとした時を感じ、歴史に触れ、草津温泉の文化と歴史をご体感ください。

Gozano-Yu has been reproduced in April 2013 in Yubatake which is symbol of Kusatsu Onsen.
Gzano-Yu has got hung up on wooden architecture, which re-created peculiar house of Kusatsu between Edo period and Meiji period, and have characteristic roof using cedar-board, which call TonTon-Buki, and also will be able to feel to old-time atmosphere from plaster wall.

Sainokawara-Rotenburo is the biggest open-air bath in Kusatsu Onsen, which will be able to fully enjoy the fresh green, autumn leaves and snowing during the four seasons.
Sainokawara-Rotenburo has been wholly redesigned on May 30, 2015, and it was first time since founding.

加水をせず湯温を下げるため、板で湯をかき混ぜ一定の温度に下げます。
独特なテンポでこの湯をかき混ぜる様子をショーとしてご覧いただける施設です。

Netsuno-Yu be able to see traditional Yumomi show.
Hot-spring from Kusatsu Onsen is high-temperature, which will be difficult to take a bath.
Yumomi is Stirring hot-spring until the lower temperature with using cutting board, that is not adding a water.
Tourists will be able to see in Netsuno-Yu, which is stirring hot-spring by distinctive style.

草津温泉の西方にあり、辺り一面至るところから温泉が湧き出しています。
草津温泉の西方にあり、辺り一面至るところから温泉が湧き出して大量の湯煙を上げ、湯川となって流れています。
また、その景観から鬼が住む場所、鬼の泉水とも呼ばれて
恐れられ、鬼が出るので、この地では大声を出してはならないとの伝承があります。
今でも鬼の茶釜、鬼の相撲場などの名称が残っています。（ph２．１）
バスターミナルより徒歩で１０分

Sainokawara-Park is on the west said in Kusatsu Onsen, and hot-spring is springing everywhere all over this area, and this hot-spring flowing to the river with going up a great deal of steam, which call Yukawa-river, that means hot-spring river.
Sainokawara-Park is also called abode of demon or demon of spring, that an old people had been feared Sainokawara-Park, and we also have lore, when someone speaks in a loud voice in Sainokawara-Park, it's apparently believed that demon will be coming up.
The name of demon’s kettle to boil water and demon’s sumo field still remain at Sainokawara-Park.(ph2.1)
