The Taipei Hot Spring Development Association organized this photography event to capture the charm of Beitou and the beauty of flower yukata through the lens, showcasing the diverse facets of Taipei as a city, building a culture of hot spring bathing and yukata in Beitou, and shaping the multifaceted image of Beitou tourism.

The 2025 Taipei Hot Spring Festival specially invited the Okinawa Chatan Town EISA Taiko Dance troupe from Japan to perform at the opening. For this occasion, Mr. Satoru Okuhara, Representative Director of the DEPOT ISLAND Street Association (a general incorporated association in Okinawa), led the Eikuchi District Youth Association to perform together. The thunderous drum beats opened the press conference and revealed this year's Taipei Hot Spring Festival theme: "Okinawa Eisa Taiko Festival - Drumming Up Beitou Hot Spring Fun / Hot Spring Cuisine - Health & Wellness."

The photography contest of the 2024 Taipei Beitou Flower Yukata Festival has concluded perfectly, attracting a large number of photography enthusiasts who participated enthusiastically. Each contestant showcased their love for Beitou and creativity through their lens, with works not only displaying the beauty of flower yukata but also capturing the diverse charm and emotional moments of Beitou. The competition was filled with touching moments and surprises.

The 2024 Taipei Hot Spring Festival will grandly launch from October 31 to November 3, with the theme "The More Retro, The More Fashionable." The city government has partnered with Beitou hot spring businesses to offer five consecutive days of exciting activities and deals. Dozens of hot spring businesses have launched exceptional discount coupons, inviting the public to experience Beitou's hot spring culture and local charm. During the event, you can pick up flyers at the Beitou Ten Scenic Spots, Tourist Service Center, and event venues to enjoy these offers!

2024 Taipei Beitou Flower Yukata Festival, November 3, 10:00-12:00

The "Taipei Beitou Flower Yukata Festival" has become one of the signature brand events among Taipei's commercial districts, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Xinbeitou Hot Spring commercial district. Built upon the unique hot spring culture, the Flower Yukata Festival allows visitors to gain a deeper understanding of Beitou's development history and the connection between hot springs and the lives of Beitou residents through hands-on experiences.

Taipei has a "Songshan District," while on Shikoku Island in Japan's Ehime Prefecture, there is a "Matsuyama City," 46 times the area of Taipei's Songshan District. As the seat of the Ehime Prefectural government and the most populous city in Shikoku, Matsuyama City's tourism appeal is boundless: hot springs, castles, literature, historical sites, ancient temples, and more - exploring at a leisurely pace makes for an endlessly delightful journey.

A Japan study tour composed of the Taipei Hot Spring Development Association, Taiwan Asia-Pacific International Hot Spring Tourism Association, Taiwan Commercial District Cultural Tourism Industry Federation, and Taipei City Commercial District Industry Association arrived in Fukuoka, Japan yesterday (4th) for a 5-day Kyushu-Shikoku exchange tour. Along the way, the group planned to visit allied friends in Yamaguchi City, Mine City, and Matsuyama City in Yamaguchi Prefecture, and will also immerse themselves in Matsuyama City to experience the 300-year-old, vibrant "Matsuyama Autumn Festival," bringing the footage back to Taiwan to build anticipation for the "Taipei Hot Spring Festival" to be held November 1-6 in Xinbeitou.

The 2022 Taipei Lantern Festival launched in Shilin on February 11. This year's lantern zones span MRT Jiantan, Shilin, and Zhishan stations, shining brightly through February 20, a total of 10 days. In addition to three lantern zones featuring local characteristics, there are also numerous spectacular stage performances and celebrity lineups for you to enjoy. On February 6, the main visual was unveiled along with an exciting chef percussion show, bringing the perspective from Jiantan MRT Station to the food and night market games of Shilin Night Market, announcing that the well-known Shilin district will host the 2022 Taipei Lantern Festival!
